We design and make custom folding cartons, custom packaging, blister cartons and counter-top displays. We use a wide range of paperboard to meet your unique packaging needs. Our specific printing capabilities are listed below:

Sheeting

Protective Packaging utilizes two in-house sheeters. A Marquip sheeter and a Maxson sheeter can accommodate up to 65-inch wide rolls.

Pre-Press

Our FujiFilm Topsetter allows us to use plate imaging via computer-to-plate technology. Computer-to-Plate (CtP) is the leading platemaking technology. It requires platesetters to remain in top condition day after day, under continuous use.

Printing

Protective Packaging prints on two Koenig and Bauer 28 x 40 sheet fed offset presses. The first press was installed in 2019 and the second in 2022. Both presses are state of the art and can run up to 6 colors and aqueous coating.

Die Cutting

Protective Packaging got its start in die cutting. We have five Bobst die cutters that can run up to 7,000 sheets/hr.

Finishing

Our Omega and Bobst folder/gluers will fold and glue your boxes assuring you the quality you and your customers expect. Our capabilities include straight-line, automatic bottoms, 4 & 6 point designs, and beverage carriers. We also have a window machine that has the ability to place a window in your carton so you can view the product inside of the carton.

Warehousing

We offer our customers warehousing terms up to four months. Warehousing frees up your space, giving you room for finished goods – not work in progress. Also our inventory program will give you better material flow and control of your own inventory.
